The new chapter of Chinese food going to sea opens in Irvine - The US Investment Summit brings together Chinese and American elites


On July 2, 2024, the United States Investment Summit and the China Catering Industry Sea (Los Angeles) Summit Forum was held at the Irvine Jindu Hotel. Sun Yingli pointed out that the US Investment Summit was initiated by former President Barack Obama, and Chinese entrepreneurs are invited to participate every year by the US Department of Commerce and the US Embassy in China, aiming to promote economic exchanges and cooperation between China and the US.

Afterwards, the important guests at the meeting delivered important speeches. Ms. Zhang Sujiu, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader, fully affirmed the great significance of this forum from the perspective of the development of China-U.S. friendly relations. Dr. Zhang Jiahao, a well-known investor, focused on the path of Chinese food to the sea, how catering enterprises can realize the synchronous sea of culture and brand with the power of capital, and analyzed the representative cases of Chinese and American catering enterprises with the help of capital listing, and put forward unique suggestions for the development of Chinese catering enterprises.

As a witness to the visits of the Chinese delegation to the East and West of the United States, Dr. Jin Sheng Cheng discussed the development path of overseas Chinese from the perspective of Sino-American cultural exchanges. In their speeches, American delegates Harrison Engle, Douglas Ivanovich and Todd Williamson recognized the important position of Chinese food in Chinese culture and spoke highly of the unique charm and global influence of Chinese food culture.


In her speech, Yang Haiwei, chairman of the founder of the Chinese Dinner Party, was full of gratitude. She thanked the organizers for their careful arrangements and said that the forum made their trip fruitful. In his speech, Jorge Herrera Avila, representative of California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, highly praised Sun Yingli and Yang Haiwei for their outstanding contributions in promoting cultural exchanges between China and the United States and presented them with certificates of honor in recognition of their outstanding achievements.


The summit Forum promoted multi-party strategic cooperation through a series of activities such as the sharing of enterprise development history and business strategy by brand founders, the link of top brand resources, the dialogue and negotiation of well-known catering and supply chain enterprises, and food tasting. The participants had an in-depth discussion on the development status and prospects of Chinese food in the United States, jointly explored new business opportunities in the American market, and opened a new chapter for the Chinese catering industry to go overseas.

The summit will be held at the Capital Seafood Restaurant, 770 Spectrum Center Dr, Irvine, CA 92618. The event officially starts at 6pm on Tuesday, July 2.
