As a non-profit public welfare organisation, in recent years, US-China Investment Promotion Association (USIPA) has been committed to building an ecosystem of international innovation and sharing, actively promoting the transformation and landing of international capital, industry, technology and talents in China, and assisting Chinese local governments in "attracting capital, attracting wisdom, attracting talents and attracting business".

On the basis of the original Chinese and American political and business, talent, capital and industrial resources, we will actively expand the interaction between China and Europe in the fields of science and technology, education, culture, health, environmental protection, energy and financial capital.

The Lord Mayor of Cambridge, George Pippas, conferred a doctoral degree on Zhang Jiahao as Cambridge Business Ambassador.

In 2018, US-China Investment Promotion Association (USCPA) Chairman Eric Chang was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, making him the second Chinese to receive the award after Li Ka-shing.

In 2018, it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bentley Group, adhering to the common mission and philosophy of "deep linking global elites, integrating services for innovative development", and utilising their respective chapter networks and member resources to deeply link and interact with each other in the fields of film and television culture, wealth management, asset management and other member strategic services.

In 2019, the International Education Committee will be set up to systematically introduce international education brand projects for China, relying on the platform's high-end educational resources, docking with top colleges and universities in the United States and Europe, and helping domestic students go to famous overseas schools for further study.

In recent years, it has repeatedly organised governments from different parts of the country to go to Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy and other European Union countries to participate in exhibitions outside the country, attract investment, expand the market and seek for incremental growth, so as to provide new opportunities for the world with China's new development, to convey China's value at a high level of internationalisation globally, and to show China's high-quality development to the outside world.

With the global industry-academia-research and financial systems such as British SEALIGHT Capital Group, Italian-Italian-China Foundation and British Cambridge Industrial College as the European resource platform, it has facilitated the introduction of top European brands such as Cambridge University, Ferrari, Bentley, Lego, etc. in China.

While building a bridge of innovation between China and Europe and helping China and Europe to realise the road of cross-border exchanges, the Association has successively set up European regional branches in the UK, France, Italy and other countries, and has formed friendly cooperation relationships with the United Nations Office for Project Services and industrial associations of various European countries, focusing on the global new economic forms, new technologies and new trends, and assisting local governments and enterprises in establishing a globalisation strategy system and realising the goal of internationalisation and development.

In 2023, the U.S.-China Investment Promotion Association was officially approved to change its name to the U.S.-Europe-China Investment Promotion Association.

In the future, OECCIP will, as always, uphold the core concepts of "talent as the foundation, capital as the core, industry as the basis, and integration and operation as the guide", build an international cooperation and exchange platform, integrate the world's top experts and resources, and help China to further integrate into the global system in the fields of finance, science and technology, energy, culture, education, environmental protection, health and other fields, and actively promote the transformation and landing of the global financial capital, advantageous technology and advanced industry in China, so as to promote the industry with the capital, promote the development of industry, and accelerate the entry into a new development pattern of the "domestic and international double-circle".
