From February 28th to March 2nd, at the joint invitation of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy and the People's Government of Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, Zhang Jiahao, President of the US China Investment Promotion Association, and a delegation of 8 people visited Zhijiang.

During the three-day itinerary, the inspection team, accompanied by Liang Changchu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China's Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County Committee and Deputy County Mayor, visited the former site of the surrender of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Flying Tiger Memorial Hall, the world's longest Dong wind and rain bridge - Longjin Wind and Rain Bridge, and the largest Dong drum tower group in China - Wanhe Drum Tower. They also participated in a project symposium jointly organized by the Hunan Provincial Committee of the China Democratic Promotion Association and the Zhijiang County Government.

At the symposium, Liang Changchu, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China's Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County Committee and Deputy County Mayor, introduced the situation, leading industries, and development environment of Zhijiang County to the members of the inspection team of the US China Investment Promotion Association. Zhijiang, named after Qu Yuan's famous saying "Yuan has Zhi, Li has Lan", has a long history and a rich collection of people. It is also home to a large number of commemorative buildings, such as the Zhijiang Anti Fascist Victory Surrender Memorial Hall, the second largest Allied airport Zhijiang Airport, the Sino US Air Force Joint Music Department, and the Surrender Hall, which are the iconic buildings of the Second World War's anti fascist victory. This has formed a rich and unique culture of peace. Zhijiang has successfully hosted four globally influential "China Zhijiang International Peace Culture Festival", and peace has become a cultural gene existing in the blood of the people of Zhijiang.
